About
Former Cobra pilot. Long-time delivery coach. Allergic to slideware.
Steady Vector was founded by TC, a retired Army Captain and helicopter pilot who spent the next career helping software organizations fly straight.
Why “Steady Vector”
In aviation, a vector is a heading with a purpose.
When a controller gives you a vector, you know which way to point and why. A steady vector means you’re on it: no wandering, no overcorrecting, no surprises for the people counting on you to show up where you said you would.
That’s what organizations want from delivery. Not heroics. Not a new framework every fiscal year. A heading they can trust, and the ability to change it cleanly when the weather does.
Army aviation taught a few habits that transfer surprisingly well: brief before you fly, run the checklist even when you’re sure, trust your instruments over your gut in the clouds, and debrief every mission without rank in the room. You’ll see all four in how we work.
We’d rather do fun, meaningful work with great people than chase revenue for its own sake. If that sounds like your team, we should talk.

What I love
Teaching and mentoring, building things that work, and watching other people grow.
What I’m good at
Leading and coaching teams, structured problem-solving, and bridging business and technology.
What the world needs
Tech-literate leaders, and a few wise guides who’ve already made the mistakes.
What I’m valued for
Consulting and advisory work, fractional and board roles, courses and content.
The overlap: help leaders build organizations that deliver, and enjoy the climb.
